02/27/2018 11:00 PMThe North Haven Garden Club will have a meeting on Thursday March 8, 2018 at the The North Haven Congregational Church, 28 Church St. North Haven, across from the Green., at 7:30 PM featuring speaker Jude Hsiang on "WOODY PLANT CARE". Jude is a certified UCONN Extension Master Gardener and coordinator for the program in New Haven County. She works at Broken Arrow Nursery and is a member of the boards of the Experiment Station Associates and the Connecticut Botanical Society. For years Jude has been exploring the use of plant pigments as dyestuff's for fabrics.
Jude's presentation will focus on selecting, planting and caring for trees and shrubs in our area. Spring is right around the corner so if you haven't picked out your new shrubs this is a good opportunity to know the facts.
The meeting is open to the public for a $5.00 guest donation. Hostesses for the evening are Gerri Giordano, Mary Cameron and Pat Brodka. Table arrangement by Carmen Sealy
