Valley Shore YMCA Receives Grant from CFMC/Chris Belfoure Memorial Fund
The Valley Shore YMCA is pleased to announce it has received a $1,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County. This grant is made possible, in part, through the Chris Belfoure Memorial Fund, and will go towards supporting the Y’s youth programs.
States Chris Pallatto, the YMCA’s Executive Director, “We are so grateful that the Chris Belfoure Memorial Fund has come on board as our supporter through the Community Foundation of Middlesex County, and their generous funding will further enable us to reach the children in our community who need it most. Their commitment to honor the legacy of Chris by supporting youth programs is extraordinary.”
The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for the people of the County, now and in the future, by developing endowments, making grants that have impact and assisting donors in meeting their philanthropic objectives. Since its founding in 1997, the Community Foundation has awarded 1,815 grants totaling more than $5.4 million for the arts, cultural and heritage programs, educational activities, environmental improvements and for health and human services.
