Weave Your Family Tartan. Stephanie Morton will be instructing this 6-week class on Fridays, starting October 7 - November 11. Time: 11:00 - 2 pm. World-famous plaids called "tartans" have been woven for centuries in Scotland to proclaim clan/family membership. Create a beautiful wool scarf in your own family's tartan while learning to weave on a four-harness table loom. Students will wind their colors and warp their loom to weave an heirloom scarf in this class that explores the patterns and history of this tartan. Beginner to experienced weavers are all welcome, and students go at their own pace. Come and Join the Fun!
