GUILFORD "KNOW YOUR TOWN" COFFEE AND CONVERSATION
The League of Women Voters of the East Shore is holding a "Know Your Town" Coffee and Conversation on May 12th at 9:30 a.m. at the Guilford Public Library meeting room. First Selectman Joseph Mazza will speak on how Guilford town government operates.
If you are a new resident and would like to learn more or a long time resident with some questions about Guilford government, please join us. This is part of the League's "Local Government Initiative" to offer opportunities for citizens to become more involved in their town government.
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of public policy issues, and influences public policy thorough education and advocacy. Membership is open to men and women of all ages.
