Heroes are M.A.D.E. in Madison
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…your student, next door neighbor, coach, friend, or anyone else in your life who goes above and beyond the call of duty to contribute to the well-being of our town.
M.A.D.E. in Madison knows that our community is full of ordinary people doing extraordinary things and we want to celebrate them! Tell us about a local hero you know and why they deserve to be one of our monthly honorees.
How do you spot a local hero? They are humble, hardworking, brave, focused, and courageous. Perhaps they lend a hand to their neighbor even during tough times of their own. Maybe they preserved through a personal challenge or spearheaded an effort at school or in the community. Above all, they use their voice and talents to make Madison a healthier community.
If you would like to nominate a hero, send an email to M.A.D.E.’s coordinator Catherine Barden at bardenc@madisonct.org with your name, the name of the person you’re nominating, and a short description of what makes him or her a hero. All nominees will be featured on M.A.D.E.’s website (madeinmadison.org) and monthly winners will receive a special hero-worthy prize. M.A.D.E. is accepting nominations throughout the 2015-2016 school year!
