Middlesex County 4-H member Emily Telensky, a 9th grader at Valley Regional High School, won 3rd place in the Connecticut State 4-H Talent Show on March 21st. The Talent Show was held at the Connecticut 4-H Expressive Arts Day at the UConn West Hartford Campus. Telensky performed a modern dance entitled "Seed" to music which she composed on piano and recorded. "Seed", which Telensky choreographed, is an interpretive dance that represents the germination and growth of a seed into a plant. She plans on performing the dance at the New England 4-H Talent Show at The Big E this September.
