What Inspires an Artist!

Students in the Art Gallery Academy are learning about what inspires an artist and how artists show their work to inspire others.

Students were invited to learn about a real world gallery show and participate in the annual Chester Gallery Post Card Show.

The postcard size artworks students created are based on ceramic relief tiles they made earlier in the year. Both the postcards and tiles were on display at the Gallery.

The Chester Gallery at 76 Main Street hung the students’ works alongside many local and professional artists' work. The art looks amazing! What talented artists we have in at Chester Elementary School!
