North Branford football hosted Haddam-Killingworth on Oct. 4 and lost 51-21. Thomas Hansen had two touchdown runs in the loss, and Gregory Ferraro caught a 66-yard touchdown pass from AJ Sigel.
Volleyball
North Branford volleyball traveled to Valley Regional on Sept. 30 and lost 3-1. Olivia Cahill had 11 kills, and Adriana Hills had 33 digs. Samantha Melillo added 20 digs, Lauren Vitarisi had 17, and Payton Depino had 12. Melillo had 16 assists, and Vitarisi had 11.
The team then hosted Haddam-Killingworth on Oct. 2 and lost 3-0. Hills had 21 digs, Vitarisi had 16, Melillo had 12, and Alexa Snedeker had 11. Melillo added 12 assists.
