North Branford volleyball traveled to Morgan on Sept. 23 and won 3-0. Olivia Cahill had seven kills, while Payton Depino and Terasa Comfort each had six. Lauren Vitarisi had 27 digs, and Alexa Snedeker had 14. Samantha Melillo added 13 assists.
On Sept. 25, the team traveled to old Lyme and won 3-1. Cahill had 15 kills, and Vitarisi had 18 digs. Snedeker added 16 digs of her own, while Melillo had 19 assists.
North Branford ended the week at Hale Ray on Sept. 27 and fell 3-1.
Football
North Branford football traveled to Morgan-Westbrook-Old Saybrook on Sept. 27 and won 34-21. Matteo Anderson scored a rushing touchdown, Michael Gualtieri had two receiving touchdowns, and Tommy Hansen ran in two scores.
