The East Haven volleyball team traveled to Branford on Sept. 23 and took a 3-0 loss. Alexa Heaphy had five aces, Chloe Viglione had 10 digs, and Olivia Santoro had four assists.
The Yellowjackets then traveled to Jonathan Law on Sept. 25 and lost 3-1. Viglione and Mia Abely had five kills each, and Heaphy had four kills and seven digs. Libby Madonna had 13 digs, and Eve Backhaus had nine assists.
East Haven ended the week at home vs. Career Magnet on Sept. 27, when the squad blanked the opponent 3-0. Backhaus had 15 assists in the contest.
