The East Haven football team traveled to Foran on Sept. 20 and fell 21-7.

Boys’ Soccer

East Haven boys’ soccer traveled to Lyman Hall on Sept. 18 and won 3-2.

The next day, the squad hosted Daniel Hand and fell 3-1.

Girls’ Soccer

East Haven girls’ soccer traveled to Amity on Sept. 17 and lost 7-0.

Two days later, the Yellowjackets hosted Branford and took a 1-0 loss.

On Sept. 21, East Haven hit the road to Coginchaug and fell 7-0.

Volleyball

On Sept. 16, East Haven volleyball hosted North Haven and lost 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-14). Alexa Heaphy had five kills, three digs, and two aces, and Eve Backhaus had 15 assists and three digs. Mia Abely added five kills and one block.

The team then hosted Jonathan Law on Sept. 19 and lost 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23). Libby Madonna had 12 digs and three aces, and Backhaus had 25 assists and five aces.

The Yellowjackets ended the week at Millbrook (New York) and fell 2-0.
