Football

The Guilford football team opened the season on Sept. 13 at Fitch and won 31-14. Caden Hillier recorded five rushing touchdowns in the contest and picked up 325 total yards. Aidan Connelly had 14 total tackles, and Rocco Barbera had 13.

Boys’ Soccer

Guilford boys’ soccer traveled to Lyman Hall on Sept. 9 and won 6-0.

On Sept. 12, the team hosted Fairfield Prep and earned a 1-0 victory.

Girls’ Soccer

The Guilford girls’ soccer team hosted Mercy on Sept. 12 and took a 6-3 loss.

Two days later, the Grizzlies hosted Cromwell and lost 1-0.

Field Hockey

On Sept. 11, Guilford field hockey traveled to Daniel Hand and fell 2-1.

Three days later, the Grizzlies played host to Norwalk and won 2-0.

Volleyball

Guilford volleyball hit the road to Wilbur Cross on Sept. 9 and won 3-0.

On Sept. 11, the team hosted Hillhouse and earned a 3-0 victory.

Two days later, Guilford wrapped up the week hosting Foran and picked up a 3-0 win.
