Volleyball Splits the Week, Boys’ Soccer Wins Season Opener

Volleyball

The Valley volleyball team traveled to Hale Ray for the season opener on Sep. 3 and earned a 3-0 win (25-20, 25-22, 25-12).

The team then traveled to Haddam-Killingworth on Sep. 5 and fell 3-1.

Boys’ Soccer

Valley boys’ soccer opened the season at Cromwell on Sep. 3 and earned a 2-1 victory.

Girls’ Soccer

The Warriors opened the girls’ soccer season at Coginchaug on Sep. 5 and took a 2-2 tie.

Field Hockey

The Valley field hockey team hit the road to Old Saybrook for the first game of the year on Sep. 6 and fell 5-0.

The next day, the team traveled to Waterford and took a 7-0 loss.
