Bill’s Seafood Grants Scholarships to Local Student-Athletes

The Bill’s Seafood Scholarship Committee would like to congratulate the 2024 scholarship recipients. The recipients include Emma Bransfield of Westbrook, Clara Shea of Valley Regional, Carlina Castro of Old Saybrook, Madelyn Sacta-Guartazacca of Clinton, Olivia Palumbo of Westbrook, Elliot Koplas of Westbrook, Liam Welch of Valley Regional, Robert Estabrook of Clinton, and Brayden Cody of Old Saybrook.

Bill’s Seafood in Westbrook scholarship funds are raised through a golf tournament held annually in September. This year, the total amount raised for all students equals $25,500. The award is given to students who have demonstrated positive character, leadership, and good citizenship qualities. The recipients must also have participated in high school athletics each of their four years, and they must further their education at a four-year college/university, junior college, business, or vocational school.

If you would like to make a donation to the Bill’s Seafood Athletic Scholarship, it is 100% tax deductible through a partnership with The Community Foundation of Middlesex County.
