Lane Named Conference Player of the Year, Several Old Saybrook Athletes Earn All-Conference Bids
Girls’ Tennis
Singles player Michele Sapohznikov was an Honorable Mention to the All-Shoreline Conference Team for her efforts this spring.
Boys’ Tennis
For boys’ tennis, Old Saybrook’s Drew Demers earned recognition as an Honorable Mention to the All-Shoreline Team.
Baseball
Connor Lane was named Shoreline Conference Player of the Year for Old Saybrook baseball and earned a spot on the First Team as a catcher. He additionally won Gatorade Player of the Year as the best baseball player in the state of Connecticut. Infielder Auggie Albert was also named to the First Team. Outfielder Charlie Carmichael was an Honorable Mention.
Boys’ Lacrosse
Brayden Cody (attack), Aiden D’Anna (midfield), and Wes Percival (midfield) earned spots on the All-Shoreline Conference First Team for Old Saybrook boys’ lacrosse. Liam Roberts (attack) and Ngwang Choegyal (defense) earned spots on the Second Team. Brendan Cassella was an Honorable Mention.
