Softball

Guilford softball, as the No. 13 seed, traveled to top-seeded Masuk on June 4 for the semifinals of the Class L State Tournament and took a tight 4-2 loss. Ella Munson went 1-for-3 with a double, driving in a run for the Grizzlies. Addie Smith recorded two hits, and Mallory Sedorra and Adrianna Piascik each added one. Sophia Meade pitched six innings and gave up zero earned runs. She also struck out 10 batters. Guilford closed out what ended up being a very strong season.
