Softball Produces Several All-Conference Athletes, Girls’ Lacrosse Picks up Conference Tournament Win

Softball

The All-Shoreline Conference softball players were recently announced, and quite a few North Branford players were recognized for making their mark this spring. Natalia Lucibello was named Player of the Year. Pitcher Kiley Mullins earned First Team honors, as did infielders Lucibello, Lexi Falcioni, and Lindsay Onofrio. Lauren Vitarisi was named to the First Team as an outfielder.

Catcher Adriana Hills, infielder Gabi Senerchia, and outfielder Lily Ardito were named Second Team All-Conference. Outfielder Alia Martone was an Honorable Mention.

Golf

The North Branford golf team hosted Hale Ray on May 20 and won 179-200. Jack O’Brien was match medalist with a 39. Robert Cappella scored a 44, Jack Monde earned a 46, and Chris Piercy recorded a 50.

Girls’ Lacrosse

North Branford girls’ lacrosse hosted Old Saybrook in the Shoreline Conference Tournament semifinals on May 21 and won 10-8. Thunderbirds’ Player of the Year Keana Criscuolo proved she was worthy of the title by scoring five goals and assisting on four of the remaining five.
