Boys’ Basketball Falls in Quarterfinals, All-Conference Athletes Honored

Boys’ Basketball

The North Haven boys’ basketball team played in the Division III State Tournament quarterfinal round on March 11, when they fell 55-36 to No. 5 Bunnell to close out a great season.

Brendan Grudberg was named to the All-SCC Second Team for his efforts this winter.

Cheerleading

After a very successful winter in which North Haven found itself as the SCC champions, several athletes were awarded for their efforts by being named to the All-SCC Conference team. Those athletes included Gianna Carrano-Lanza, Jea Iamunno, and Reaghan Brandt.

Gymnastics

Kaley Lillis had a strong season on the gymnastics mat for the Nighthawks, earning All-SCC honors in the process.

Boys’ Indoor Track

Nico Boyle earned a spot on the All-SCC Second Team for his performances in the 1600 meters this winter.

Girls’ Basketball

Ava Johnson was named to the All-SCC Second Team for her efforts with North Haven girls’ basketball this season.

Girls’ Ice Hockey

Emelia Brandi was a vital piece of the Amity/Cheshire/North Haven Blades girls’ ice hockey team, as she earned a spot on the All-SCC Second Team as a forward.

Boys’ Ice Hockey

Bryce Mastriano represented North Haven boys’ ice hockey as an All-Conference First Team forward.
