Mascari Named SCC Player of the Year

North Branford resident James Mascari is a senior captain of the Notre Dame-West Haven boys’ varsity ice hockey team. As a four-year varsity player, he has racked up a variety of accolades, but recently reached 100 points in the team’s first SCC playoff game vs. Notre Dame of Fairfield on Feb. 28. Mascari has been a high honor student at ND-WH for the past four years, and was recently named the 2024 SCC Player of the Year for boys’ hockey.
