Boys’ Basketball

On Dec. 29, Westbrook boys’ basketball traveled to Wright Tech, where they grabbed a 51-34 win. Trevor Jones had 11 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. Senior Arselan Zaheer contributed with eight points, six rebounds, and four assists, while senior Eliot Koplas had nine points, six rebounds, and four steals.

Then, on Jan. 3, the team played host to Portland and fell 73-35. Tyler Casula had 14 points and four rebounds, and Maurice Whalen added nine points and two steals.

The Knights hosted Hale Ray on Jan. 5 and lost 55-24. Whalen had 11 points, and Zaheer had nine rebounds.
