Boys’ Basketball

H-K boys’ basketball traveled to Morgan on Dec. 19 and fell 65-49. Blake Kamoen led the way with 15 points for the Cougars, followed by Cody Robinson with 13 points. Declan Moriarty added five points in the contest, and Ryan Erskine, Spencer Savoy, and Luke Mauri each scored four. Jay Evans (three points) and Scott Hosney (one point) also contributed. Kamoen also collected five rebounds, and Robinson had four.

The team then hosted Granby Memorial on Dec. 21 and lost 59-34. Cody Robinson scored seven points in the contest, followed by Spencer Savoy and Declan Moriarty with six each, and Joe Slane with five points. Bryce O’Linn added four points, and Jake Mackenzie, Ryan Erskine, and Luke Mauri all contributed with two points each. Andrew Crayton and Noah Marica each collected five rebounds.
