The Amity/Cheshire/North Haven girls’ ice hockey team opened the season on Dec. 4, traveling to Fairfield Ludlowe/Warde and recording a 6-2 win. Goals for the Blades were scored by Emelia Brandi (assisted by Elaina Scasino), Maura Lebreck, Reese Rothfuss, Abby Fitol (assisted by Maybelle Caron), Lucy Dickenson (also assisted by Caron), and Brandi again (assisted by Lebreck). Ivy Massicotte recorded 25 saves in net in the victory.
