Valley’s Soccer Teams Each Get a Win; Field Hockey, Volleyball Also Prevail

Football

Valley Regional/Old Lyme football hosted Ellington on Oct. 13 and took a 27-20 loss in the matchup.

Boys’ Soccer

Boys’ soccer traveled to Westbrook on Oct. 10 and tied 1-1. On Oct. 14, the Warriors hosted Amistad and claimed a 2-1 victory.

Girls’ Soccer

The girls’ soccer team played host to Norwich Free Academy on Oct. 11 and fell 5-1. On Oct. 14, the team hosted Westbrook and triumphed by a 2-0 final.

Field Hockey

Valley field hockey hosted Old Saybrook on Oct. 10 and lost 2-1. Three days later, the team hit the road to North Branford and fell 3-0. On Oct. 14, the Warriors traveled to Woodstock Academy and posted a 1-0 shutout over the Centaurs.

Girls’ Volleyball

Girls’ volleyball hosted Portland on Oct. 11 and won 3-0. The next day, East Hampton came to town and the Warriors lost 3-1.
