10/09/2023 03:12 PMOn Saturday, Oct. 28, the North Haven boys’ lacrosse team will partner with A & E Clothing Corporation, a company based in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, that offers used clothes for sale in bulk, to host a clothing drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Haven High School.
This is the time of year when many people are cleaning out closets and making the transition from summer to winter clothes, so it is the perfect time to donate unused apparel. In addition to clothing for men, women, and children, the team is also accepting shoes (in separate bags), clothing accessories such as belts, hats, scarves, handbags, gloves, etc., as well as soft household items like towels, blankets, bed sheets, pillows, quilts, comforters, and curtains. Small toys (2 feet or less) are also accepted, as are stuffed animals, bikes, scooters, and strollers.
Items not accepted include sports equipment, board games, books, puzzles, pots, car seats, electrical devices/glass, large toys, high chairs, baby cribs, VCR tapes, furniture, and outdoor play sets.
