North Branford football hosted Capital/Achievement on Sept. 29 and won 42-6. Tommy Hansen currently leads the team in Rushing Yards Per Game, with 125.0, while AJ Sigel leads the squad in Passing Yards Per Game, with 41.0 (137.0 total yards).
Field Hockey
The North Branford field hockey team traveled to Amity on Sept. 26 and won 6-1. Then, on Sept. 28, the Thunderbirds hosted Westbrook/Old Lyme Co-op and won a tight 1-0 game.
Girls’ Soccer
Girls’ soccer hosted Harding on Sept. 27 and tied 1-1.
Boys’ Soccer
North Branford boys’ soccer hosted Whitney Tech on Sept. 27 and took a 1-0 win.
Girls’ Volleyball
The girls’ volleyball team traveled to Valley Regional on Sept. 27 and lost 3-1. Then, they hit the road to East Hampton on Sept. 29 and fell 3-0.
