Field Hockey

The North Branford field hockey team hosted Morgan on Sept. 19 and won 9-0. The Thunderbirds then hit the road to face Valley Regional on Sept. 21 and recorded a 3-0 victory.

Football

North Branford football traveled to Plainfield on Sept. 21 and won big, 56-6.

Girls’ Soccer

The Thunderbirds girls’ soccer team fell 7-0 on the road to Morgan on Sept. 18 to begin the week. On Sept. 21, the team traveled to Cromwell and lost 8-1.

Boys’ Soccer

North Branford boys’ soccer hosted the Morgan Huskies on Sept. 19 and lost a tough 11-0 game. Aiden Hutchinson recorded nine saves in goal in the loss. On Sept. 22, the team played host to Cromwell and lost 4-0.

Girls’ Volleyball

On Sept. 18, the girls’ volleyball team traveled to Haddam-Killingworth and lost a tight 3-2 game. Two days later, the team bounced back when they hit the road to Old Lyme and won 3-0. On Sept. 21, the Thunderbirds hosted Coginchaug and grabbed a 3-2 win.
