Valley Girls’ Soccer, Field Hockey Both Split the Week

Football

Valley Regional/Old Lyme football hosted Granby/Canton on Sept. 14 and lost 28-7.

Boys’ Soccer

The boys’ soccer team opened the week on Sept. 12, losing 8-0 at home vs. East Hampton. Two days later, the Warriors traveled to Old Saybrook and fell 5-0.

Girls’ Soccer

Valley girls’ soccer traveled to East Hampton on Sept. 12, losing a close 3-1 game. Then, on Sept. 14, they faced Old Saybrook on the road and won 3-1.

Field Hockey

The Valley field hockey team traveled to Morgan on Sept. 11 and won 6-1. On Sept. 14, the Warriors played host to Westbrook/Old Lyme Co-op and lost 2-0.

Girls’ Volleyball

Girls’ volleyball fell 3-2 to Hale Ray on Sept. 11 at home, before traveling to Morgan on Sept. 13 and winning 3-0. The next day, the Warriors hit the road to Portland and earned another victory, this time in 3-0 fashion.
