East Haven football traveled to Bassick on Sept. 15 and won 35-0.
Girls’ Soccer
The East Haven girls’ soccer team took a 5-0 loss vs. Hamden at home on Sept. 12. Then, on Sept. 14, the team hosted Sheehan and lost 7-0.
Boys’ Soccer
The Yellowjackets traveled to Career/Hillhouse on Sept. 12 for boys’ soccer, taking a 4-1 loss. On Sept. 15, the team hit the road to Lyman Hall and lost a tight 1-0 contest.
Girls’ Volleyball
On Sept. 12, the East Haven girls’ volleyball team fell 3-0 in a home match vs. Seymour (25-4, 25-15, 25-8). Kelsey Hinckley recorded four kills in the contest. The next day, the Yellowjackets traveled to Career Magnet and won 3-1 (20-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-21). Nicole Brown recorded eight kills and seven aces. Ava Panico added five digs and seven aces, and Mia Abely had six kills.
