Valley Boys’ Soccer Splits the Week While Volleyball Falls in Opener

Valley/Old Lyme football played its season opener on Sept. 9, hosting Capital/Achievement in a 43-6 loss.

Boys’ Soccer

Boys’ soccer traveled to North Branford on Sept. 8 to open the season. They recorded a 3-0 win in the contest. On Sept. 9, the team hit the road to Hamden and lost 2-0.

Girls’ Soccer

The Valley girls’ soccer team made its season debut on Sept. 8, hosting North Branford/Hale Ray, and won in dominant fashion, by a score of 6-0.

Girls’ Volleyball

The Warriors girls’ volleyball team traveled to East Hampton on Sept. 7 for their season opener. They fell in a tight 3-2 match.
