Hydras Water Polo Team Participates in Junior Olympics

The New Haven Hydras water polo team recently participated in the Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas, from July 27 to 30. The squad produced several winning results and standout performances in the competition.

The 12U Mixed team took home first place in the Gold Division, while the 14U team claimed fourth in the Gold Division. The 16U team participated in the Platinum Division and claimed second place.

At the 18U level, the Hydras claimed second place in the Platinum Division, and the 18U Girls, also in the Platinum Division, took seventh place.

The New Haven Hydras pull athletes from various area towns, including East Haven, North Haven, Branford, Guilford, and Madison.
