07/10/2023 01:25 PMThe first two weeks of the Madison Hoop Dreams summer basketball camp were praised by campers and parents. This week, July 10 to 14, they have the largest group, with over 80 campers from 19 different towns. Every week is exciting and fun as players work on their skills through drills, stations, contests, and games. The guest speakers add to the fun through instruction and motivation.
With a staff of 18 people, the program offers a ratio of campers to coaches of 5 to 1. The program and staff have made them the most popular basketball day camp in CT for over 20 of the 30 years in business.
Multiple-week discounts are offered for every family. In addition, there is also a discount for teammates from any area team (recreation, travel, school, or AAU). The family discounts are on the program’s website: www.madisonhoopdreams.com. An individual pays $300 for one week. If three, four, or five teammates attend one week, the cost is reduced to $275 each. If six or more teammates attend, the cost is $250 each. Several area teams have used the team discount. Madison Hoop Dreams encourages the team concept because they think it results in all of the campers having an even better experience.
Madison Hoop Dreams is a nonprofit organization. They are very proud of the many individuals and charities that have benefited from over $135,000 given away by the program. In addition, they have been happy to provide financial aid for the camp to families experiencing financial difficulties. If you are having difficulties or you know someone who is struggling, Madison Hoop Dreams encourages you to request help so that no young person misses out on the great program that is offered.
Join for one or more of the remaining camps: Monday, July 17 to Friday, July 21; Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28; or Monday, July 31 to Friday, Aug. 4.
