Branford White Keeps Pace with Branford Red in Week Six
In Week Six of the Branford Parks and Recreation’s Adult Spring Hoops League, Branford Red defeated Branford Black by a score of 83-49. Justin White netted a game and season-high 50 points, 26 of which came in the second half. White also connected on five 3-point field goals and was 3-for-4 from the free throw line. Taylor Sullivan added 12 points and Patrick Olson had nine in the win. Cameron Garfield led the way for Branford Black, scoring a team-high 24 points.
Branford White faced Branford Blue and won 86-70. Michael Lopes recorded 34 points and five 3-pointers. Double-digit scorers also included Eric Doing (13 points), captain Adam Pahlsson (13 points), Cody Scanlon (12 points) and Edward Preiss (10 points). Ryan Adinolfi led all scorers for Branford Blue with 21 points.
Branford Red and Branford White are currently tied for first place in the standings, both sitting at 5-1. Branford Black and Branford Blue both currently hold a 1-5 record.
