Branford Red Picks Up Third Win in Parks and Rec Hoops League

Week Three was an exciting one for the Branford Parks and Recreation Adult Spring Hoops League. Branford Red took on Branford Black and grabbed a 72-53 win to maintain its perfect record of 3-0.

Justin White netted 19 of his game-high 35 points in the second half of play, and teammate Restinel Lomotey added 22 points. Cameron Garfield led all scorers for Branford Black, scoring a team-high 27 points, 15 of them coming in the first half.

Branford White took on Branford Blue and walked away with a 83-62 victory. Michael Lopes sank nine 3-pointers en route to his game and team-high 46 points, and Branford White captain, Adam Pahlsson, added 14 points in the win. Paul D’Angelo led the way for Branford Blue with 18 points.

Branford Red currently leads the standings with a 3-0 record, followed by Branford White at 2-1, Branford Blue at 1-2 and Branford Black at 0-3.
