Branford Pickleball to Have First Tournament

The town of Branford will be holding its first pickleball tournament at Foote Memorial Park on Saturday - Sunday, May 6-7. The event is in support of youth development of pickleball in Branford, with all proceeds going to that cause. So far, the town has raised over $3500 with hope of many more successful events to come. All of the work has been done on a volunteer basis, with support from Branford Parks and Recreation and local businesses. The pickleball instructors hope to see as many people as they can make an appearance at Foote Memorial Park to witness the sport of pickleball.
