05/01/2023 12:46 PMThe Shoreline Spartans high school boys’ rugby team hosted the Southington Blue Knights on April 28 at The Morgan School in Clinton. The Spartans took a 59-10 loss in the match. Try scorers for the Spartans were Joe Whiteside and Luke Belanger. Despite the score, many of the Spartans played their best rugby to date. Honorable mentions include Paul Knudsen, Churchill Roberts and Aidan Staunton. Rugger of the Match goes to Luke Belanger for his strong runs off the scrum and many solid tackles during the match.
