Old Saybrook Girls’ Tennis, Boys’ Lacrosse Grab Two Wins Each
Baseball
Old Saybrook baseball took a win and two losses last week. On April 24, they hosted Morgan in a tight 3-2 victory. On April 26, they hit the road to Cromwell and fell to the home team by a score of 1-5. On April 28, the Rams returned home and took a 0-12 loss vs. North Branford, The team is now 5-6 for the season.
Boys’ Lacrosse
Rams boys’ lacrosse grabbed two victories this week. They first traveled to Cromwell on April 25 and won 17-8. They then traveled to Old Lyme on April 26 and grabbed a 13-3 victory. Old Saybrook is now 7-3 on the season.
Boys’ Tennis
Old Saybrook boys’ tennis traveled to East Hampton on April 24 and took a 1-4 loss. Joseph Kelly took a win at No. 4 singles by forfeit. This put Old Saybook’s record at 0-8 for the season.
Girls’ Lacrosse
Old Saybrook girls’ lacrosse hosted Cromwell on April 25 and won 24-8. The Rams then grabbed a home loss vs. Old Lyme on April 26 by a score of 9-8. Juliette Condulis recorded a goal, and Ayla D’Anna added an assist. Laura Day scored two goals to go with one assist and Gretchen Kawecki had four goals and one assist. Amelia Sigersmith also added a goal of her own. Brianna Berdiales recorded eight saves in goal. The girls are now 6-4 on the season.
Softball
Westbrook/Old Saybrook softball traveled to Cromwell on April 24 and lost 0-14 before falling at home to North Branford on April 26 by a score of 1-18. On April 27, the girls won by forfeit. This puts their record at 2-9 for the season.
Girls’ Tennis
Girls’ tennis hosted East Hampton on April 24 and grabbed a 7-0 win before traveling to North Branford on April 26 and winning 5-2.
