The Daniel Hand girls’ ice hockey co-op took a close loss to Suffield co-op on Feb. 27, falling to the visitors 7-6.
Girls’ Basketball
Girls’ basketball split the week, picking up a victory in the first round of the Class S State Tournament. The 18th ranked Knights defeated #15 St. Bernard on Feb. 28 44-36. Their season came to an end on March 3, after a 51-17 loss to Thomaston.
Boys’ Basketball
Two players from the Westbrook boys’ basketball team were named to the All-Shoreline Conference team this season. Senior Brandon Naccarato was named First Team All-Conference and senior Vincent Naccarato was named an Honorable Mention.
