Branford Girls’ Basketball Loses Season Finale; Boys’ Ice Hockey Falls in Conference Tournament

Girls’ basketball ended the season by recording a loss to Wolcott, bringing their overall record to 6-16. The team hit the road on Feb. 27 in the 56-28 loss.

Girls’ Ice Hockey

Girls’ ice hockey recorded a narrow 7-6 loss on Feb. 27 at home versus the Suffield co-op.

Boys’ Ice Hockey

The Branford boys’ ice hockey team lost in the semifinal round of the SCC Division II tournament to Watertown-Pomperaug on March 1. The team came into the game as the #3 seed, but lost to the #2 team 4-2.
