02/14/2023 12:56 PMThe Guilford Fund For Education (GFFE) and Guilford Basketball League host the Bee Ball Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 4, at Baldwin Middle School, 68 Bullard Drive, for Guilford players in grades 3 to 7.
Each grade will have a specific hour to participate between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Teams will compete in 3-vs-3 basketball games and activities. The exact time of play will be issued the week before the competition to accommodate travel basketball schedules.
Prizes will be awarded, and concessions will be available. All proceeds fund GFFE-approved educational grants that benefit Guilford youth.
Teams must have at least three players, but no more than four, and a maximum of two travel players are allowed per team. All team members must be from the same grade, and teammates should wear the sale color shirts or jerseys.
Registration is $10 per person or $40 per team, and players must be registered by March 1.
