Valley Boys’ Basketball Gains a Split of Two Games

The Warriors’ boys basketball team split the week, posting both a win and loss in conference play. The team traveled to Moodus to take on Hale Ray in a 45-41 win, before hosting Old Saybrook for a 54-46 loss on Jan. 27. The team, now 7-8 overall and 7-4 against conference opponents, hosted North Branford on Jan. 31 (after press time) and will host East Hampton on Feb. 3.
