Boys’ Basketball

The Huskies collected two more wins against conference opponents to add to their 8-1 conference record; they’re currently 9-4 overall. The team traveled to Westbrook on Jan. 24, posting a 52-38 win. They hosted Hale Ray on Jan. 27, recording a convincing 74-55 victory. Next up, the team was set to host Cromwell on Jan. 31 (after press time). They will host conference opponent Haddam-Killingworth on Friday, Feb. 3.

Girls’ Basketball

Morgan girls’ basketball posted a pair of wins, recording victories over conference opponents Westbrook and Hale Ray, and suffered a loss to Granby. The Huskies hosted Westbrook on Jan. 24, collecting a 33-25 win. They traveled to Moodus to take on Hale Ray on Jan. 27 in a 42-14 decision. Granby visited Morgan on Jan. 28, handing their hosts a 47-35 loss. The team owns a 7-8 overall record, 6-6 in conference play. They played Cromwell on the road on Jan. 31 (after press time) and will visit Haddam-Killingworth on Friday, Feb. 3.
