Rams Boys’ Basketball Wins Four Straight Games
The Old Saybrook boys’ basketball team won its second straight game on the road on Jan. 17, beating the North Branford Thunderbirds by a score of 59-47.
Brayden Cody had 19 points and four assists for the Rams. Auggie Albert contributed 14 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks.
Aaron Tolve added 13 points and 10 rebounds, while London Sweeney had 10 points and five rebounds.
For North Branford, John Onofrio led the scoring, with 20 points.
Old Saybrook then returned home on Jan. 20 and faced the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars. The Rams won the game, by a score of 53-34.
Aaron Tolve led the scoring for Old Saybrook this time, with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while London Sweeney had seven points and eight rebounds.
Additionally, Brayden Cody contributed 12 points, and Auggie Albert added six points and eight rebounds.
On Jan. 21, the Rams faced Stonington at home, picking up a 74-59 win.
Aaron Tolve had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead Old Saybrook, while Josh Lech had 19 points and four rebounds, and Auggie Albert contributed 10 points, six rebounds, and two blocks.
London Sweeney added nine points and seven rebounds in the victory, and Brayden Cody had eight points to go along with four rebounds.
Bradley Kulmann scored two points and collected three rebounds, as Old Saybrook secured another dominant win.
