North Haven’s Brandi Scores for Blades vs. Guilford
The Amity/Cheshire/North Haven Blades girls’ ice hockey team faced Guilford on Jan. 16, falling by a score of 7-1.
Although things didn’t go as the Blades had hoped, North Haven’s Emelia Brandi helped contribute to the score.
At the 6:08 mark of the first period, Brandi took a pass from Samantha Drane and Maybelle Caron into the net to give the Blades an early 1-0 lead.
The remainder of the contest was all Guilford, as they scored two goals in the first period, two goals in the second period, and three goals in the third period to round out the 7-1 victory.
Brandi has proven to be a big asset to the Blades in only her freshman year, as she also recorded two assists in the girls’ 7-4 loss vs. Hamden.
