Coach Kevin Connell was very proud of the girls and the accomplishments they achieved in this race.
“Ella Stone really came into her own, she was the top seed and performed like it, ” Connell said. “She is a tribute to the quiet work needed to be a great athlete. Joelle Budz also came in as one of the top sprinters and ran personal best in the 55 and ran a very competitive 300.”
“Every meet this season, the girls have proven themselves, and have competed at a high level,” Connell added. “I am proud of the work they have done so far and look forward to see better efforts in the future.”
