Valley Comes Out On Top in Close Contest with Morgan
On Jan. 6, the Morgan boys’ basketball hosted Valley Regional, and the Warriors grabbed the road win in a close 52-51 game. Valley won the game in the third quarter, when they put up 20 points, their most of any quarter. There were a variety of standout performers for both teams.
On the Valley side, Andrew Yermenson led the scoring with 21 points. Sam Hutchinson followed him with 13 points, while Brayden Shea and DiAngelo Jean-Pierre added eight points each. Conor Quinn also contributed to the victory with two points.
For Morgan, Matt Reed continued his season dominance by scoring 16 points. Eddie Dwake had nine points and Jack Nye added seven. Ryan Donadio, Mason Krott, and Robby Estabrook recorded six, five, and four points, respectively. Patrick O’Neil and Clifton Kolby each scored two points.
