Morgan Boys’ Basketball Takes Home Loss to East Lyme

The Morgan boys’ basketball team had their first game of the season on Dec. 17, in which they lost on the road to Hand by a score of 74-38. The Huskies then traveled to Haddam-Killingworth on Dec. 19, coming away with a 67-50 victory.

On Dec. 21, the Huskies hosted East Lyme in their home opener. The Vikings claimed a 70-59 win in the contest.

Morgan scored most of their points in the second and fourth quarters, as they scored 20 and 22 points, respectively. They were held to just eight points in the first quarter and nine points in the third.

Matt Reed led the scoring for the Huskies with 17 points, including knocking down three 3-point field goals. Ryan Donadio followed with 11 points, and Jack Nye added ten. Robby Estabrook recorded recorded eight points, Eddie Dwake had seven points, Mason Krott had four points, and Patrick O’Neil scored two points.
