The Westbrook boys’ basketball team took their first loss of the season on Dec. 15, falling to Coginchaug on the road by a score of 74-62. Despite the result, Westbrook still had many standouts.
Senior Brandon Naccarato put up a stellar 42 points on 13-20 shooting, as well as collected 4 rebounds, putting him in contention for the perennial Person of the Week. Senior Ryan Engles had 7 points, 7 assists and 6 steals, and senior Vin Naccarato added 9 rebounds.
