The North Haven High School Athletic Department, in conjunction with the North Haven Booster Club, is hosting a celebration for longtime North Haven baseball coach Bob DeMayo. After serving as the program’s head coach for 64 seasons, DeMayo retired in August having recorded 937 victories with five state championships during his tenure as North Haven’s skipper. The celebratory event will be held at the Wallingford Country Club on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A special presentation will take place at 12:30 p.m. This event will include appetizers and a cash bar. While admission is free, the Booster Club will accept donations at the door.
