Madison Tigers Grab a Win During Last Week of Regular Season

The Madison Tigers 17-U AAU baseball team completed the 2022 regular season with an overall record of 6-11-2 after winning one of its last four games during the final week of play. The Tigers split a doubleheader against the Run & Gun Baseball Blue 16-U team and then lost both ends of a doubleheader versus the Hit Club to close out regular-season play.

Madison’s 17-U squad hit the road to play a doubleheader with the Run & Gun Baseball Blue 16-U club at Seymour High School on Aug. 6. The Tigers came away with a split of the set by taking a 5-3 loss in the first game and then claiming a 9-2 victory in second contest.

The next day, the Madison Tigers hosted the Hit Club for a doubleheader at Town Campus Field. Madison dropped a 7-2 decision in the opener and then lost by a 5-1 final in the nightcap to finish off its regular season this year.
