Madison Tigers Earn a Pair of Ties
The Madison Tigers 17-U AAU baseball team moved to 4-5-2 on the season after coming away with two ties and a loss in three recent games against the CT Riptide. The Tigers played the Riptide to a tie in both ends of a recent doubleheader before taking a defeat in the next meeting between the teams.
Madison hosted the CT Riptide for a doubleheader at Town Campus Field on July 10 and both contests ended in a stalemate. The Tigers battled the Riptide to a 5-5 tie in the first game of the doubleheader, after which the two clubs played to a 4-4 draw in the second matchup of the set.
The Tigers went on to play face the CT Riptide on the road on July 13. Madison took an 8-0 loss versus the Riptide in the game at Maloney High School.
